As described by my blog title, this blog is dedicated to all mummies, daddies, grandparents, aunties, uncles and anyone caring for children who somehow have defied the laws of nature, and continue bouncing off walls when you think their energy reserves should have run dry.
What do you do in such times? Wouldn't it be great if they have and "on-off" switch, especially when YOU are the one who needs that little nap? How do you keep your sanity while keeping their minds, bodies and spirits adequately nourished?
This blog serves to share ideas for such times, or for any situation where you need some activity to spend quality time with your kids. The ideas could be from my personal experience or creativity, or simply those popular tried-and-tested ones gleaned from books, magazines, the internet or other parents.
I hope this blog would help us all in savouring that hot mug of coffee or chocolate even when our kids are NOT napping!
p.s. Do you have any idea what kids are capable of when they are not napping? I'm sure you do but brushing a goldfish's teeth takes the cake. Yes, one kid actually did that and he's none other than my 40-something-year-old 'kid' when he was a mischievous 'kutu' (English:flea) a long time ago! ;)
